You did WHAT to pasta???

The other day I was bragging about my pasta maker to an unimpressed coworker.  I said "I can add whatever I want to the pasta!" and he said "Like chocolate?"  He was joking but I started thinking...hmmm...  dessert pasta...  So with the help of my friend Google, I found several recipes for chocolate pasta.

How was it?  Well, it was odd.  It has a slightly sweet, slightly chocolaty flavor with the texture of pasta.  Alone it was fine.  I also tried it with a little berry preserves on top and it was fantastic that way.  This pasta definitely needs a sauce.  I think it would be great with fresh whipped cream and fresh fruit too.

I'm thinking goat cheese and honey on top. Looks yummy!

I was thinking goat cheese too! Or some mascarpone. And fresh berries!

I'm not a fan of goat cheese but I can see how that would be good if I did like it. Marscapone is a great idea. Berries definitely. I'm also thinking perhaps ground almonds.
